FOR CHESTER ZOO
These offices employ a number of environmentally green features and materials, including insulation made from recycled paper, and sustainable cedar to the walls and roof. The overhanging eaves give shading to avoid solar gain and also provide covered external walkways between the various departments.
The building was constructed over a number of phases to suit funding requirements, and the large roof void can be converted into offices to provide additional accommodation as the Zoo continues to expand.
